Programmer and IT Administrator - South Manchester
you will be reporting to the operations director, assisting with both the day to day running of the IT department, working on upgrading the company's current software, and writing new software both for the client and their customers.
The job consists of three main aspects:
* General IT, i.e. helping users, building computers, installing software, repairing hardware, configuring phone system etc. Up to date knowledge of computers is essential, such as operating systems, MS Office, basic networking etc
* General administrative duties, i.e. data entry, scanning etc, assisting directors with anything else as needed.
Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4pm on Friday with 30 minutes lunch (41½ hours total), however you may need to be flexible as certain projects will require late or early starts. Holidays are 22 days a year (some must be taken at Christmas).
Salary will start at £17,000 per annum, although may be negotiable for the right candidate.
